John Wesley United Methodist Church-Swainton has announced that due to COVID- 19, the event titled, “Who Was Lovinia Armour Coachman,” is postponed to a future date, to be determined. This event was to take place on June 20, 2020 at the church cemetery, followed by an old- fashioned picnic in the cemetery, “Glade in the Shade.” It was the fourth event initially planned as the ongoing 180th Anniversary celebration of the founding of the church, which was born on February 29, 1840. We pray our community will heal in body, mind, and spirit over the next number of months and we look forward to seeing you soon.
