WheatonArts in Millville, New Jersey, hosts its annual Holiday Studio Sale beginning Friday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Event Center. This anticipated sale features discounts of 30% to 70% off original prices on handcrafted ceramic and glass items. Terry Plasket and the WheatonArts’ Ceramic Studio Artists will showcase a wide selection of functional pottery in a variety of glazes, sizes, and styles! The glass section includes new WheatonArts prototypes, seconds and overstocks, along with individual works made by the Glass Studio Artists. Studio glass by Vermont-based artists Melanie and David Leppla will be on sale as well. WheatonArts Members are invited to a special Members-Only Preview at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29.
Also on Nov. 29, WheatonArts will celebrate the holiday season with the 11th annual Big Glass Blast event! Since 2008, the Big Glass Blast Team has delighted audiences of all generations with larger than life glass creations. The theme this year will be “The World’s Largest Glass Cornucopia,” sharing the abundance of Cumberland County’s agricultural traditions with the talents of WheatonArts glass artists.
