Cape May County Beach Plum Association Hosts 8th Annual Oyster & Clam Roast

Enjoy a fall evening at Cape May Winery in celebration of the Beach Plum, the official fruit of Cape May County! The public is invited to come to the Cape May County Beach Plum Association’s 8th annual Oyster and Clam Roast on Sunday, Oct. 21. The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Cape May Winery located at 711 Town Bank Rd. in Lower Township.

This popular event will feature fresh roasted oysters and clams along with pulled pork and fried chicken. There will also be a variety of beach plum desserts and wine. The evening will include live music featuring local artist, Michael Flanagan, as well as a Chinese Auction featuring artwork and items from local artists and businesses throughout Cape May and Atlantic counties.

This year, proceeds from the event will benefit the South Jersey Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, the Outdoor Experimental Experience at CMC Special Services School District and the CMC Beach Plum Association.
